These terms cover the use of this website and the cleaning services provided by W.M Carpet Cleaning Services. By using this site or booking our services, you agree to these terms. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

W.M Carpet Cleaning Services is a sole trader business based at 24 Axholme Avenue, Crowle, Scunthorpe, DN17 4EG, providing carpet, rug, upholstery and holiday let cleaning across the Isle of Axholme, North Lincolnshire, Goole and Doncaster. Using this website

The content on this site is provided for general information about our services. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that everything is complete or free of errors. Prices, availability and service details may change. Any quote we give you is confirmed directly with you, not through the website alone.

Quotes and bookings

A quote is an estimate based on the information you give us. The final price may vary once we have seen the work in person, for example if there is more to clean than described, or if a carpet needs additional treatment. We will always talk to you before doing any work that would change the agreed price. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date and the details with you.

Carrying out the work

We will arrive at the agreed time and carry out the work with reasonable care and skill. Cleaning can improve the appearance of carpets, rugs and upholstery a great deal, but some stains, marks, wear or damage may be permanent and cannot be removed. We will let you know if we think a result is unlikely before we start. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for the natural wear and age of the items we clean.

Access and preparation

Please make sure we can access the property at the agreed time, and that the areas to be cleaned are reasonably clear. If we cannot gain access, or the job is materially different from what was described, we may need to rearrange or adjust the price.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us as much notice as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else. We ask for reasonable notice for changes to a booked appointment.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise with you in advance. We accept cash and bank transfer.

Liability

We carry insurance and take care in everything we do. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for damage that was already present or that results from the age, condition or nature of the items cleaned. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Complaints

If you are not happy with any part of the work, please tell us as soon as possible so we can look into it and put it right. We would always rather hear from you than not.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
